There was something called Show Low Days and when I mentioned I had not had a Navajo taco Mom insisted on buying me one, even when we saw they were $14.

It is amazing how outrageous prices affect my appetite.

There was an apathetic Native American taking orders and when I went to the trailer window to pick it up I saw that there were four gringos inside actually making the food.

A lot of genuinely native people may look "white" even though they were raised on the Rez and are enrolled tribal members. Looking white and culturally native is a real thing. Looking white and dressing native and claiming native and not being native is also a thing. Historically, native communities adopted outsiders into the tribe and married outside of native communities. All such people become full members in native practice going back centuries and as a result, there are truly native people with lighter complexions than you might expect.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
