It will be interesting to see if the Saudis attempt to fill in the gap to ensure the leadership there retains support from the west when it has to deal with the "Arab Spring" - can't see the the Bin Saud family the subject of a UN resolution somehow as long as the oil flows.
It will also be interesting to see if they can actually fill the gap, i.e. whether they actually have the ability and capacity to do so.

The price at my local station dropped to $3.799 yesterday, but I have a feeling it will be going back up, soon.

+1, and like AG, I was trying to be subtle about it.
No matter. When the opening salvo was sent to Baghdad, I knew we were in for a hellish ride.
The fortunate thing is that at least here you can figure out how to make the machinery better to cover the spread.

Just because I abhor the political Left doesn't mean I always approve of or automatically support the political Right.

Indeed. I'm not merely apolitical, I'm ANTI-political.
BTW, I hear the current approval poll for Congress is at 9%.
Maybe I'm not such an anomaly...

Had to fill up in the Insight yesterday - "filling up" meaning put in $20 worth at the cheap cash-only station - $3.69/gal. Only managed about 3 weeks on the last $20 (385 miles), but since it's dropped about 30 cents per gallon since the last time, that means extra half gallon, almost.

Would like to read (that is, NOT watch a video) how they come up with that price.
I wouldn't be surprised to discover that they add in all sorts of things that aren't properly part of the cost.
