Reviving Team Competions
EM has a team competition page that I have not heard anyone mention in a loooong time. I am on "Team Honda" (duh). The teams get ranked by highest average MPG across the team. Here is the general list. Join or create one. I think some non-brand teams could be fun. In the spirit of Concours d'LeMons, do your worst!

I just logged a tank and I'm back on two teams with my disappointing Insight. I see the Wagons team I created is still going!

I'm dragging team Honda's mpg down, but not the % over EPA. There was a time when I was not the worst car on there.

I saw I was the only remaining member of Team Volt, so I dropped out of the competition to give you guys that actually keep up with your fuel logs better a chance to take the #1 spot - Go Team Leaf!
I have a hard time remembering to log mine in these days, and since I've charged my Volts for free at work for the last two or three years I've already won the "fuel cost" challenge

Several Teams have also gained a few members since I posted this. The SUV Team jumped from last to 2cd when a new person joined. And we have more than one leaf on this site, no?
Yes, Team Honda used to have about 25 Civics and Accords in it and we were, well, not winning. But winning isn't the point! [Cries into his sleeve.] It's the competition that's the point! [Forced smile.]

Because someone joined Team SUV with a Leaf. If a Leaf is an SUV, so is my Prius--I take it off road, I camp in it, I use it to haul lumber and bikes. Team SUV, here I come!

Such a team would kick butt, too.
