This can oscillate quite a lot depending where you are measuring it and if the alternator is charging or not and overall RLC of the car system.

Adding a capacitor to ground can help but I would do it locally like you place the decoupling caps close to the supply pins of an IC.
in french now ?

plz donc forget that im french ... RLC ? .. IC ? ecu is ok

Squeaky snakes?

RLC - if I remeber right it's a nerdy way of saying Reactance, Inductance, Capacitance. They're some electrical properties of a circuit.

IC - integrated circuit

They *might* be ultra capacitors, but they're cheap, and they're from china...

On paper it might help! In the real world, not so much. Yes, your electrical system voltages can vary between like 10-18v . If your alternators Voltage Regulator works, and you're not putting too much load on the system, and you're not running a pitifully undersized battery, you don't need it. It's to help smooth out voltage, but you'd have to push the system HARD or have bad parts to need it.

Where it would actually matter for economy is at the ECU and Spark. Both of those already go through step down or step up conversions to get what they need. The DC/DC converter to drop to the 5v for ECU guts should be stable enough it shouldn't vary. The step up for spark is so high that the variation isn't going to affect the spark being able to jump the gap.

This atleast has a theory on how it might help but unless your car was engineered by drunken monkeys, or something is broken there's not much gain. Theory is sound, so it's better than things like Fuel Magnets. But it'll also add another point of possible failure that could dead-short your battery.

If you really want one, or just have snakes that need oil, go for it.

is it an expresiion ? :P
thanks for info ... In my caar I need a lot more of current to make my subwoofer+4 speaker work ... If it can only improve sound quality a bit it could be interesting ....
