Scangauge Measurements on Mirror Removal?

Has anyone done any actual SGII testing of the advantage of rear view mirrors removal? I'd like to give it a try. Testing wouldn't seem all that hard, so maybe someone has done it already.

I'll be testing this spring, just got my mpguino installed.
I'm sure MetroMPG has done it. might try a search, or try his website.

I tested mine a while back:

Runs with Mirrors:
1: 35.8
2: 37.5
3: 37.7
4: 38.6
5: 37.2
6: 38.4

Runs Without Mirrors:

1: 38.0
2: 37.5
3: 37.6
4: 40.1
5: 40.1
6: 39.3

Runs with Average: 37.53
Runs Without Average: 38.75

Was done at 45 mph with scanguage, cruse set and cancelled with brake then resumed.

Id imagine a bigger difference at higher speeds.

Reflections on side mirrors: testing drag vs. MPG - MetroMPG.com

I did an A-B-A at 55 mph, cruise control also.

Except in my case A = both mirrors on, B = passenger mirror off, driver's side folded back

1.27 mpg (US) - difference between A and B run avgs
= 2.3% - increase in fuel economy at this speed, for this car.
