The question I most wanted answered was, how intentional and planned out was Scott's comments, and how much was unplanned and unexpected?

He answered that today by saying he was using the usual tactic of getting everyone mad by saying something provocative that most would disagree with, and then challenging himself to work through that persuasively. So he meant to say the racist comment just as he did. What he didn't anticipate was the comment getting picked up elsewhere resulting in his cancellation.

Long term, he figured he'd get cancelled and accepted that fate, he just didn't think it was happening now.

Just as I had suspected with prior shocking things he's said, he's not saying it because he believes it, he's saying it to get people angry and focus their attention, and then to make a broader reframe.

I think it was a series of escalations. It would have been interesting to see what would have come next.

Have to admit, I have a hard time feeling bad for them. Something about "you've made your bed now lie in it".

The US has problems too, almost all of which are fictional (as opposed to physically not having energy). That's the privilege of being a wealthy and secure nation; we get to dream up thousands of fake problems and go to work tilting at windmills... hang on, I think I just saw Hitler... I'll brb.

Viva Frei Interview on Scott Adams -- Hotep Jesus

Toward the end Viva Frei is asked to naqme 5 white intellectuals, and Scott Adams doesn't make the list. But it's a good 2 hours overall.

Viva is fine, but I like Barnes more. I'll give it a listen.

Scott is soliciting recommendations for what to name Dilbert 2.0

Resets are often good if approached with the correct mindset. I'm long overdue for one.

I respect the Right Angle crew, but this comes across as superficial:

Dilbert Gets Cancelled

They see him lumping everyone together with the 25+%; but he explicitly said any blacks that want to get ahead in life should take the same advice.

IIRC back in the 1970s blacks would hear about a little town in Geogia that was all-white and say "Ima move there." I understand more now.

edit:
Larry Elder gets it. Scott Adams' Remarks on Black Anti-White Sentiments: Is America's Race Relations Getting Worse?

Jetson cities with flying cars!

He's right. This could be as big as JFK's Moon shot.

But where he fails is thinking the flying cars would be under a central control point of failure. The way to make it work is to put flocking behaviors into the individual control systems. Traffic patterns emerge spontaeously, individual choices being interaccomodative.
