Mud results are finally in
Each of those images has the same number of pixels between four and twelve ounces.
I added 12oz of water to 12oz of dirt and got 17.17 ounces of muddy water, about 8oz of watery mud and 9.17oz of dirty water.
As for the mud composition, it looks like an ounce or less of... mud... another ounce or less of... mud... and then about ten ounces of... mud...
Which ones are gravel, sand, silt, and clay?
Am I missing a level?

I'm not seeing a lot of gravel.
You could put a piece of cloth over it and press the water out with some kind of plunger, and dry it out into a cake and slice it in half.... and probably find out it settled out uniformly.

Defining Soil Particle Size Distribution
Without a microscope, sand, silt, and clay soil particle sizes are impossible to measure directly so sediment testers determine the coarse fractions by separating the size grades with precision sieves and weighing them. For the smaller particles, they use tests based on how fast the different sized grains settle in a column of water.

Do you have access to a microscope?

I made playing with mud boring. I am proud of myself!
No microscope. Don't judge me!

Maybe this should go in the Climate Consensus thread?
Example one: A gloss finish is important to the shedding action.
Example two: We'll make paving stones.

What? Italy?
I think they've agreed on Salvini.

'Is this not '≠ 'are there any'.
I'm watching for the Pria Ghia.
One of those first two video showed examples of geopolymer technology and it included the Roman Coliseum and the Great Pyramid!
They show examples that have a fine grain, that take a polished mold surface well and even show examples with colorizers for pieces that look like cast bronze.
The second one shows that alkali based recipes leach potassium, and the third one discusses producing nano-sale aggregate materials on a mass scale. Concrete aerogel, as it were.
I've watched all three now, and this one:
It's a little heavy on the chemistry.
