The (sic) was noting a grammatical error, specifically it would be grammatically correct to use "logical" instead of "logic" in that specific context. The (sic) notation in no way challenges the truth of the statement made.

Oh, okay.
I first thought it was grammar related but then thought nah, it really can't be that someone would actually have time to correct other peoples grammar mistakes over the internet. No harm in that, though. One reason i keep posting here is to get better in my english. Thanks.
Could someone now kindly bring this thread back to topic?

There is always someone on-line willing to make time to correct each other's grammar.

Which makes the whole thing even more hilarious considering that person uses grammatically incorrect pronouns, and purposely misspells things, making their comments difficult to read.
No attempt at all to achieve the 2 main purposes of discussion:
1. To learn
2. To persuade

Correcting someone's grammar is bad enough, but now I see you aren't even a native English speaker it's that much worse. For what it's worth I've seen you post a number of times and wouldn't have guessed you were from Finland from your writing.

So we've all learned a little Latin.
Quote:
Sic - Wikipedia
The Latin adverb sic ("thus", "just as"; in full: sic erat scriptum, "thus was it written") inserted after a quoted word or passage indicates that the quoted matter has been transcribed or translated exactly as found in the source text, complete with any erroneous, archaic, or otherwise nonstandard spelling.

Next up—stet
Quote:
Stet - Wikipedia
Stet is an obelism, used by proofreaders and editors to instruct the typesetter or writer to disregard a change the editor or proofreader had previously marked. It is a form of the Latin verb sto, stare, steti, statum.

2022 for new certifications and 2023 for existing vehicles.
Brazil has been Euro V since 2012. Mexico just switched to Euro V in July (That was my project) but they are scheduled to quickly jumping to Euro 6 in 2021 (if the new president doesn’t delay it)

Not having a throttle plate is not necessarily an advantage. It could also be replaced by a windmill. I'd really like to see an Eaton electric supercharger used as a generator as well. The numbers on my envelope are quite encouraging.

Production gasoline cars are running 14:1 compression ratios these days. That is getting pretty close to the 16.5:1 in my Jetta TDI. Also the higher the compression ratio the harder it is to meet emission standards. VW has been dropping the compression ratios in their diesels.

Fifty+ years ago, jet engines had the same problems, as they tried to raise burner can temperatures for better efficiencies.

That is why turbines remain less efficient than diesels. Metal can't take the peak temperatures needed for efficiency on a continuous basis, no matter what we spend. Unfortunately, those temperatures burn nitrogen.
