meeting other EM's is half the fun of going to something like this. Ask Jethro (Ken) about our meet in sept.

As long as there are no catastrophic set backs between now and then I will be there.

I may have to take you up on the offer for a spot to put up a tent. Thanks for the offer, that would definitely be a huge help.

One problem I'll have if I make it this year, I don't remember if the station we filled at had diesel or not. One of the Smarties had their own bio-diesel, but I don't remember where the other diesels fueled.

Sheepdog- If i do go this year, you're welcome to navigate for me. I won't be able to commit for a couple months, though.

Figuring out a navigator is the only other thing I need. I won't know until closer to the actual date, but if there's anyone else who wants to come but not necessarily drive their own car, you can come with me.

Definitely! I'll make a plan of going this year, also plan to shoot for Watkins Glen this year.

I think Watkins Glenn is out for me again this year. Especially being on a Friday( no Saturday events) and 6+ hours away.

Jeff said he hoped to attract some EV's to run this year. I hope so too. I think the route is something like 118 miles, if I remember correctly. It's going to take a really good hypermiler to get that out of anything but a Tesla with the big pack.

That would cool to see some EV's show up, but yeah that is really pushing the range.

Does anyone know where the nearest level 2 charging station is to the start/finish Ultramar gas station in Charlemagne?

Of course level 3 would be even sweeter!
