State side, Sesame Street was really popular with returnees that I ran across in the enlisted mess.

Way back when, I mentioned a girl to a friend. He asked "You mean the drummer from the Muppets?"
Obviously, that is Animal, but it was disturbing how much that blonde girl acted like the blonde band member.

Got the panels, the racking, the sunny boy sma TL inverter and I think I know how much the tie in and permits are going to cost and I'm still on budget for 70 cents a watt installed on roof top and 55 cents a watt for ground mount.

Probably run around 11 or 12kw of panels on 10kw of inverter.

Are you sizing the 10 KW inverter to start a specific load, perhaps for your a worst-case type of load during a busy day, or something completely different?
I found a 3000W (6000W surge) modified sine wave inverter was large enough to start my older 3/4 HP air compressor. So far, that's the worst case load in my shop.

This is grid tie. I have the power grid to start heavy loads.
I don't use stand alone modified sine wave inverters any more.

Why we can't solar power everything.
If you don't know what that is and where it's happening don't bother commenting, because you're probably just a virtue signaling environmentalists who causes way more harm than good.
