I can say that you're part of the inspiration for me as well, Ben. I'm just at a temporary standstill due to parts being out of stock, and money being 'out of stock' as well.

But hey, I've got everything else lined up. Uncle is giving me/us a 97 Jetta to convert, says we can cut any adapters/brackets there at his machine shop with the plasma cutter and milling machines; he's also willing to help us source an electric forklift from a big equipment sale like he goes to pretty often!

oh my gawd, is that real? I thought I knew a lot about S10's but I had no idea there was ever a factory diesel in one.
