More:

Sadly what seemed like a great idea, oil coolers to replace the wide turn singles lights in the grill, lased 15 years but took out my motor when a hose clamp failed:

And there are a lot of other changes, heavy duty anti-sway bars front and rear, dual batteries under the frame behind the driver's door, with a relay to keep one fresh for a start in the morning, if you look close you will see A/C vents over the middle seats, the bed room, and the porty potty..and reading lights, and the rear A/C also reaches to the front seats, waste not.

Yes that is Jag Tach, and I hope to install its mate a Jag 140 MPH speedo soon, and yes a Mpgunio and a older mileage computer as well, not fully working yet due to the fuel return line..but I have a fix for that too.

A old Side Band CB with a power amp and triple power monitoring meters...

Sadly I have done a lot to her so giving up on her is not easy to do.

Is someone doing a stand alone controller for the 8L90? I know there's a couple for the 6 speeds, I haven't looked for the eight speed.

Thanks. You could:
  • replace the flexible front air dam with a diverter that extends forward to the stagnation point. Currently air that hits the front bumper winds up underneath. A diverter divides the air and lowers the stagnation point. Extreme examples on time attack cars.
  • Then the front wheel wells can have air curtains or spats (both?).
  • The sidewall curtains could be doubled up (see Aerocivic)
  • The rear fender skirts it needs could extend TurnpikeCruiser-style to an established rear separation point.
  • How do you feel about working with fiberglass? You could pie-cut the rear top. Cut it into strips and 'glass them back together for the proper curve.
Of course, a full boat tail fixes everything. How much do you want to drag around behind it (parking, visibility, etc.)?

I think I will need pictures of most of these ideas.

I am very close to the ground as she sits with the hard ground effect that came on her stock and feel I need the flex to allow some contact with irregular road and parking lots bumpers.

No boat tail...what about deflectors to bend air into the void in back??
