This morning's fill-up in my Mustang will help our team average a little.
444.7 miles, 13.76 gallons, 32.318 MPG. Same station, same pump, and same filling procedure as last fill. That's my all-time record high for the "White Pony".

My physical mods are cooler looking side mirrors, a shorty 8" radio antenna, Ford Racing cat-back dual exhaust (added 31.5#), Hypertech Max Energy Power Programmer, and Stack Racing "Billet style" upper grille insert. None of these have made any noticeable difference in fuel economy.

My other mod is "adjusting the nut behind the steering wheel"

My tires are at 35PSI; I don't Pulse&Glide, Engine Off Coast, or Drive With Load. Nor do I draft other vehicles.

I've been concentrating more on my "Driving Without Brakes" this past tank. And I had a short road trip that included about 90 miles of 55-65MPH driving.

I set this record despite burning a few extra ounces of 87 octane fuel to set up for the photo opportunity of a lifetime. I couldn't turn it down - after all, I am Mustang Dave...

You should be able to see them now. Apparently the album has to be public in order for the images to show in others' browsers.

I took my baby back to it's home over the night, and on the way there, she got over 38 mpg with the lower air intake blocked off. The hottest she got was 220, and her normal run temperature is about 200 to 205. I am going to calculate the mileage back in a little bit.

How fast? Just kidding. Probably a lot faster for its displacement than my Mustang. I didn't start this thread, but 5-speed, two seater, and rear wheel drive qualify it as a sports car from my point of view. And we can use your fuel economy to help the team's average.

Not sure how fast but now have more power than some early model V8's and body weight around 2,180 lbs so feels fast.

Taped off my front end, photographed, and I managed thirty eight mpg over 166 miles. 199 miles back, averaged 32 mpg. I am getting some instals done, and will have a lot to talk about in a little bit! Hopefully, it will be monday.
