Started my belly pan...
So, I took some measurements, and started working on my belly pan... I've got drawings(and measurements) of the individual pieces that will make up most of my belly pan... The center section around the exhaust will be open, and the rear exhaust section will need tucked up closer to the car before I build the rear belly pan sections... However, I have officially started...
Woulda got the third panel on, but the battery died in my drill...
More progress to come tomorrow...

I hope I can! Would be great to get a 40mpg tank in before winter... Would probably already have gotten it if not for the engine damage... As is, I'm working on my longest distance tank yet...

Looks nice!
If it's like the Insight it will insulate the car from some of the road noise too, making for a quieter ride
From experience I can tell you it'll last longer if you use some really big washers on those screws to hold it up . . . Turtle's original full belly pan (my son owns it now) is still on the car way over a year later with no incidents other than having to re-screw part of the front aluminum piece after an armadillo knocked it loose.

Actually, I did buy washers, but I forgot them when I was driving to the neighbors house... If I can remember to bring them tomorrow, I can back out the original screws and add the washers to them...
Very little chance of eliminating noise though... End links and struts are shot... Quite a noisy ride over rough roads, lol...

Since coroplast isn't dense enough to be a good sound proofing material, the "road noise" reduction you are hearing is the reduction in the amount of wind turbulence under the car. A large portion of "road noise" is actually wind noise generated underneath the car.

More progress... Got my third front panel installed, covering the entire engine subframe... Also got my front-mid pan installed...
There is an uncovered gap between front and front-mid pans, due to a subframe brace which I didn't deem feasible to cover... I also didn't want to cover the lifting brackets, for ease of getting the car serviced...
And it's not 100% flat and smooth, not sure what gains I can look forward to, maybe a little less engine load at 50mph? That's all I have tested, other than a high speed test to make sure it wasn't gonna blow off... So far, it's good for short bursts to 100+mph...

Looks good, but I'd definitely get some fender washers under those bolts. Those will poke through in not too long. Ask me how I know.

Nice. I only have my half complete diffuser. I'll finish that this month. Are you going to remove the airdam? I think its main purpose has probably been eliminated by the undertray.
PS, mosquito screen over the exhaust would help aero, not melt, and vent heat.

Looks great so far.
be aware that the low hanging fruit is mostly in the rear. If you can clean up how air exits the back, you'll gain a lot more than smoothing it out in the front.
