Stiffener bar for soft front aero deflector

Installed aluminum stiffener bar for aero deflector that's at rear of the front bumper cover. This is the one that flops around a bit, has a formed notch for the exhaust downpipe. Attached with alum. pop rivets. Stiffener is on top side.

I used a bit of aluminum angle stock that was originally for flooring installation. Is like angle iron except the raised side of the angle is only about 3/16 inch, not equal to the width of the other 'leg' of the stock.

Watch out for bracket at lower corner of radiator, drivers side - the bar was hitting it so I added some foam pipe insulation for padding held in place with duct tape. Would have been better to grind away a bit of the new bar's material before riveting into place.
