Can't wait to see what you pull off in the competition.

Until you get the plexi kamm built, I know they are controversial, but I am pulling down my best scan gauge readings ever with my delta-wing style VGs installed. (+ 2-3 mpgs as previously)

VwBeamer, actually you should be able to block both upper and lower grills as long as the lowest valence is still open and outdoor temps are under 80f. I guess in GA that might not be too common this time of year. I found the upper grill block had almost no effect on coolant temps.

Just block it completely and rely on the cooling fan. You're probably going to disconnect the alternator anyway, so the fan won't cause any extra mpg loss, and you can swap out the battery with a fresh charged one and remove part of the block before driving home.
