As I recall, regolith had a static charge or something. It doesn't just get everywher, it sticks there.
The legal system is a harsh mistress.

No, no, no--according to my great-uncle Brigham Young, there are Quakers living on the Moon.
(And people on the Sun as well. Science wasn't his strong suit).

Tesla thread was lost in space?
Here's Sandy Munro peering into the Octovalve:
This could be the very heart of a tiny house. Electrical control of thermal mass.

Shouty reviewed a Tesla
It is okay. The second-highest comment is Meet Kevin begging Shouty to do a collaboration.
Sweet! Two channels that rarely appeal to me!

Tesla Model 3 towing RV trailer......... 255 Wh/mi
Just saw this.
Down in the article are two CFD images of the Model 3 pulling the newer polydrops trailer vs a 'teardrop.'

Is anyone here ecomodding the Model 3? Seems like there is a lot of low hanging fruit on the Model 3 to get more range and WH per mile.
Is anyone modding the Model 3? Looks like some narrower rubber, wheel skirts, rear defuser, possibly a lower lip on the spoiler might be effective. Maybe some even more aero wheel covers? Anyone started to play and getting good results?

With the stock efficiency at 131 mpge or 26 kWh/100 miles what is the point?
It is highly unlikely that any mods will pay back.

People said that about the aero wheel covers and as it turns out there is quite a bit of difference.
Just assumed the eco modders would be trying to see how much more they can get out of it.
The Volkswagen XL1 was capable of 280mpg with a 2 cylinder diesel, battery, and some very slick aero.
I would like to think that it would be possible to see a lot more MPGe with similar mods. That would be the point. Just figured someone in here would already be working on it and reporting their numbers.

Does anyone on this forum even own a model 3 though?
Apparently I’m crazy enough for econodding my Ioniq since it’s a newer car. Doesn’t seem like people really do this stuff to new cars. And I know how protective of their cars Tesla owners are…
I’d also like to see a Tesla owner mod their car and report the range increase.
