TXU Energy is offering 7-Days,highest electric use per month, automatically comes off your electric bill. For the average USA annual mileage, and 7-days free-charging per month, statistically,a Tesla owner in North Texas, today, could drive cost-free,as far as charging goes.
Iranian cruise missiles and exploding Saudi Arabian oil infrastructure would be 'invisible' in the workaday life of a Tesla owner.Or any EV owner with equivalent battery range.
That's a pretty good parlor trick.

IIHS finds no fault in Model 3 safety - at all!
The Model 3 just earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick+ award after achieving the maximal score in all 8 test categories, including points like the headlight assembly that were previously met wit some criticism.
See more at https://www.tesla.com/blog/model-3-e...ety-pick-award

In December in the Netherlands Model 3 sales for 2019 went past the 20,000 mark...
And almost hit the 30,000 mark as well at 29,969 for the year.
The next best selling type in our market, the Volkswagen Polo (gas, diesel & CNG combined), only sold 13,443 last year.
No fewer than 12,062 Model 3 were delivered to customers in the Netherlands in December alone. A giant swoop to allow lease drivers to profit from a BIK tax reduction that gets reduced in steps each year, saving them thousands of Euros over a 5 year lease period compared to getting the car in the next year.
Shipments to other countries were delayed to allow as many Dutch customers to take advantage of the 2019 tax tier. Now 2020 is under way and the rest of Europe is getting their Model 3's; only a single unit was sold in the Netherlands in the first 4 days.
In December more EV's (54%) were sold than all other fuel types combined.
Even over the year there was a spectacular rise from 5% for 2018 to 13.5% for 2019.
Tesla is the 3rd largest car brand in the Netherlands for 2019, behind Volkswagen and Opel but ahead of Peugeot, Toyota, Renault, Ford, Kia, BMW and Mercedes.

Tesla is shipping Model 3's in China, that are built in China. They constructed the factory from the ground up - in essentially 1 year.

Shouldn't we send our prisoners to the moon first? What are they going to do, ask their sentient computer to throw rocks at us?

Depending on the classification, most prisoners should be serving the community by picking up litter, maintaining parks, and generally maintaining the commons. If they are to be released back to society, they need a connection to it.
Some need solitary confinement, which probably means they should never be released back to society.

I think they will fare the best against the Nazis on the dark side of the moon. Maybe throw in a couple of those weirdos who hike the Appalachian trail (2200 miles) for 6 months like a homeless person.
