FYI, Tesla is now claiming an industry best drag coefficient of .24 for the Model S. Not clear whether that's in standard trim, or with the aero wheels.

I think you'd need right and left handed wheels in that case!

Overall looks like a design I've had in my head for a while.

You are kidding right?

They *really* need to have a mirrored set of rims for the right side; if they are hoping to reduce the drag of the stock wheels.
I have only every seen those "turbine" wheels -- do we have any images of the "aero" wheels?
Edit: found one image!

Apparently, due to lack of response from reservation takers as well as supplier issues, this wheel type has been cancelled. Grr.

Unless those wheels have specific right and left side versions, all that will happen is a self-induced crosswind, as air will be drawn in on the passenger side and blown out on the driver side.
Better to try WalMart pizza pans instead. Or Porsche Design 90 or sewer lid wheels off a 928.

Why not make you own, with a louver press?
Lefts and rights, suck or blow, innies or outies. Not my idea, it was Harry Bradley, in a magazine from the 1980s that I have no hope of finding; so I Photoshopped it.
Please don't do this to pizza pans, get a proper Moon disc. I got a set of 4 at a swap meet for $5.00.
