I have observed that the front tires wear a little faster than the front tires of my other electric Metros and my other ICE Metros. It's not anything major, but the tire rotation is more important now, so that I can keep them all wearing the same. The reason why I am seeing a little more tire wear on the fronts, is because this rig is using regen for the primary braking system, instead of the friction brakes. Since this is front wheel drive, it means that the braking wear and tear only happens in the front, instead of being distributed among four wheels. Since the rears don't see any braking, they actually take longer to wear than they normally would, which offsets the increase in wear up front. The other bright side, is that the friction brakes look pretty new after all these miles. I use the friction brakes to hold at stops and at speeds under 5 miles per hour, but this does not cause much wear.
