Some technical questions about EGR and the transplanted Jetta TDI: - How is EGR handled?
- Is the EGR tapped ahead of the turbine?
- Is there any attempt to cool it?
My questions might be best addressed if someone has a handy Jetta TDI flow chart or graph.
Thanks,
Bob Wilson

The trans in their rabbit is 3.16:1 and their fifth gear set is 0.658, that's pretty much as low as it gets for a VW.

Do we know that for sure (not calibrated)?
At least they're making the effort to do multiple, bi-directional averaged runs in as controlled-as-possible circumstances. (Very controlled, considering they got booted out by the Man.)

They said they didn't have time to run two tanks of fuel through the car. That sounds to me like they just slapped it in and went.
