I won't sell most of the parts, if someone with an insight in my area has an accident and need some parts to repair I will see with them but I won't ship parts.

I definitely keep the Engine, transmission, IMA motor and all the computers. The battery I am still in decision. This will become my parts car for the years to come and I wan't to keep the more pieces possible.

I am considering repairing the wheels to have a permanent winter set.

I took out the engine this weekend and all went well. We builded a DIY frame to support the engine while unbolting the mounts, and then removed it.

Sorry for your loss

You say you aren't selling parts but I am in need of all of the front fender related plastic aero pieces and their supports, mine blow out and rip off in pieces (I tried just installing the so called spat)

They are light and cheap to ship if they aren't missing or totally gone.

Thanx
Ryan

Make sure you cover the car! The sun WILL eat sensitive parts like the brake/clutch reservoir very quickly. Also stick paper towels in the exhaust holes unless you want to rust out the cylinders.

I know its been a long time since I posted here but I just wanted to let you know that im all right, I found a new job in industrial saw blade sharpening. My red Honda Insight is still going strong. It is now stored in my garage and is now more of a summer car/ I never go out with the car when its not sunny outside.

I have my modified Toyota Echo with most of pieces from Echo-Francis lengendary Echo, the echo-troll. I will install the engine soon also. This will be my winter beater and my Drag Racing car.

I recently bought a Toyota Corolla Xrs 2005 as a daily driver and I have a lot of fun with it. I'm Storing it in the winter to protect this car because it is in mint condition and want to keep it like that for a long time.

Hope you all going well since the years and I wish you only the best!

I've got a pretty good amount of experience with those XRS's at this point. They are a blast if you're using them right. They're an odd duck that gets faster the faster you go in them. 0-60 is not particularly great and they're lucky to break into the 15s in the 1/4 mile, but once you hit lift in 3rd gear you never drop below it and from ~80-130 it is faster than some 13 second cars, which is hard to believe until you try it.

I have a 2zz in pieces to put into a crappy MR-S which is also in pieces. If i ever finish that it'll be a fun ride. But a Corolla XRS is a really rare bird, a reliable, useful, economical and surprisingly FAST 15 year old compact car!
