Update : So my car was non-running for like ~2 weeks because my cylinder #2 ignition coil died on me and the car was constantly throwing a P0302 DTC Cylinder #2 misfire. I tried to buy from Majestic Honda but they don't ship to Canada so I bought a coil at the dealer for ~100 CAD$.

I't runs fine now and alot smoother at idle. No more code or misfire so I took my car yesterday and everything was fine exept a little vibration noise that was not present before.

This could be explained tho by the fact that during the time my car was stalled I did some work on it like : double oil change, did my IMA battery charge-disharge cycles, installed the front passenger undertray and I installed my front LED flashers. Maybe the undertray is the culprit because the sound seems to come from the passenger side.

It is a constant little vibration noise that is not really easy to ear and it goes faster and a little bit louder as the car is accelerating. I will check under the car this week if I can fix this little bug.

I will also take an appointment to get my summer Potenza RE92 tires installed. This alone will bring my mpg way up!

Make sure the noise isn't the undertray contacting the oil pan, which will wear right through since it's magnesium.

I saw a couple of pics, maybe on IC, showing coroplast groove lines worn way into the oil pan.

Well I have bad and good news, this summer I had an accident with my Grey Insight while I was returning from Sept-Iles. The car is totalled by the inssurance and I bought it from them to part it and I bought another Insight for the continuity.

I know it doesn't look too bad from the pictures but it is more damaged than the pictures show. It has an estimated 8500$ in reparation and it as a salvage title so passing the inspection with it after a costy rebuild is really ruff. I decided it was better to part it and buy another insight.

I have all the parts exept my front bumper, my front deflector and my front aluminium under bellypan.

So this the end of the life of this car it will be put in pieces and will never roll again

I will put some pictures of the part out here and after that the thread will be closed because I am starting another thread for my Red Insight 2001.

Sorry to hear! I hope you were OK.

Was there another car involved, or did you go off the road?

If I was you, I would go buy a total hooptie insight for really cheap and transfer all the good parts over. Just saying.

Yeah we are ok. There was no other car involved I lost control and finished in the ditch.

I did not find any low price Insight for a while in my area and had to go to sarnia, Ont. to buy my new insight. The best I could do is part the car because I don't have enough money to repair it.

Do you have an ad, or perhaps an available parts list? I don't think I need anything but I might give the car a once-over and see if you might have any upgrade for me.

I was thinking the same thing. I can't think of anything I need, but a parts list would jog my memory!

Sorry about the loss, glad to see you in another Insight! Did you have to dodge a wolverine or a moose or something?

Good to hear that everyone is okay. That's way more important than a car. You can always get another car.

What would you consider for the wheels? Or perhaps you should keep those for mounting snows.
