Thanks for that.
I'll swap the oil soon after it arrives.

The oil is almost 13000km old, and I suspect it's diluted with (bio)diesel.
I have one remaining oil test , so I'll use it to check the oil now.
Engine noise sounds harsher than it should.

Vekke, you seem to have done quite a few mods after putting in the WS2, but have you seen any further improvement ?

After the fill-up on 2012-06-15, I've had the car serviced (new filters all around) and put 1g/L into the oil, so around 1200 ppm by weight.
I've done 600km since the oil change.

There's no noticeable difference in fuel consumption at any speed.
The engine doesn't appear to run smoother or quieter than before with fresh oil.

The good part is that the oil filter to the turbo hasn't gotten clogged with WS2 either

My mileage is getting better, but that's likely attributed to improved driving technique rather than the WS2.
It's been over 4000 km since I added it.

Surely it can't take that long to start having an effect ?

I cannot say the positive effects to my car are made alone by that powder. I ordered second set of powder and will put it to other cars as well. Next weeked will get second Lupo 3L treatment to engine and transmission and that is a regular car.

On my car the effect in coasting distances was immediate, but that was with heavy amount of powder. Also what I have heard from my friends the effects should be immediate if your oils are saving any fuel. However with this product they claim that it "coats" the surfaces during time.

I just made second oil change with powder in engine oil and no negative effects even though I am using again that 2.5 times ratio that is recommended. If you search the internet there are already few companies that sell that kind of engine oils.

Nano-based lubricant from Millers Oils: potential fuel saver on track and road

They dont say what is the secret material but I could make small guess what they are using...

That chart is with various mixture percentages 3 different oils. It seems after 2.5% of that nano fluid the performance stays at same level...

euromodder and Vekke: What about idle consumption in litres per hour, has it changed measurably?
I think that is one of the most certain numbers with a warmed up engine, maybe even measuring 2 or 3000rpm in neutral, everything else is prone to oscillate due to other variables.

Not really.
It's still 0,5 L/h
As I don't have a L/h indication, it's derived from 0,5 L/100km @ 100kph while coasting in neutral.

It's subjective, but the engine does seem to run smoother / more quiet though.

I only have the tungsten in the engine oil, so coasting distance is not affected.

for idle fuel consumption measuring you need better meters than the cars own. So some kind of datalogger to CAN like vag com. difference between 0.5 and 0.4 liter per hour is huge...

Today I will change my rear wheel bearings and take oem grease out and put redline bearing grease and add ws2.
