What about eddy currents? German inventor Dirk Strothmann's Magnic Light iC uses eddy currents to generate electricity from bicycle wheel.

Are you sure it could work as a motor-generator, in a way similar to the starter-generator units still used in some small aircraft? Anyway, you would need to keep it somehow protected from the excessive heat irradiated from the turbo.

Roster the link is not working says under construction.
Search for the Isuzu Ceramic Aska that you're gonna see some pictures and drawings, even though they don't provide accurate info about the regenerative setup.

If you could make a new turbine wheel with magnets, all you would need is a coil to pass them against. Like a magneto on a lawn mower. Or better yet, put an air conditioner clutch othe alternator, and hook the clutch up to a brake switch. Oly spin the alternator when raking or needed.

Heat kills magnets.

It needs to be exhaust side/clutch/alternator/clutch/intake side. The it can act as an electric supercharger or an exhaust driven alternator as needed.

I was thinking exhaust / compressor/ alt. With the alt in the incoming ambant streem for plenty of cooling. 1)Use an ultra small 2 u joint shaft to alow some distance from the compressor wheel.. 2) use a very small lovejoy type cuppling.

this is a neet alternative.
series hybrid any motor

I called Turbonetics teck department... and yes we can regulate shaft speed to a specific max rpm is an achievable goal. Just open the waste gate.. teck said 20,000 was a very reasonable goal.
Freebeard.
Atmospheric temperature is all the genhead would see and a fraction of that as the suction of the impeller would have a cooling effect. Run off the cold side.

Do you mean intake inducer (cold side) insted of ehxsost exducer (hot side)?
