That's where the Aerostang could make a difference with that beastly engine! The displacement on these little Kubotas is so small they'd just blow little smoke rings back there and make a mess... lol!

I'm sorry. I'm trying to live vicariously through you. I would love to replace my faux gas cap with this:

But if I could afford to that, I would probably just buy one of these... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koenigsegg_CCX

sheepdog44,
That really is a priceless pic! Gasoline Fumes is lethal with the camera and we're lucky to have someone that is dedicated enough to take great shot - after shot - after shot. Literally tons of memories captured and he really covers some ground - always in the right place at the right time for the right moment!
Many thanks again to fellow ecomodder Gasoline Fumes!!!

Centurion's transmission is ready for battle!

The transmission needed a couple synchro-rings, a bearing, and layshaft. Luckily the overdrive screen is as fine as it is. Certain destruction was averted by the screen capturing a few internal kung-fu shooting stars destined for the overdrive's pump.
-
Those keeping track will remember a few posts back of a weight reduction through a shorter exhaust system fabricated for Centurion and going from about 28lbs down to 7lbs will be helpful for trying to top Centurion's 2015 Green Grand Prix performance.
-
And as long as a diet is on the itinerary, here's another decent weight shave - an aluminum bellhousing:

-
Getting the bellhousing on the transmission was fairly easy.
-
Bolting up to the engine was not. Several places around the bell needed grinding away of material so the adapter bolts would recess into it. This allowed for a nice flat fit against the plate - the way it should be.
-
All assembled, it's time to give Centurion her soul back:

When lifting the assembly, the overhead beam didn't creak this time!

Awesome Aluminum bellhousing those bad boys are spendy over on the other side of the pond. They have them over at Canley Classics for like 280 GBP. Were you able to get it for a descent price?

This car is going to be super light by the time you get done adding all the Triumph aluminum alloy parts. It is pretty easy actually to take out a few hundred pounds from these cars. There are so many Aluminum alloy racing parts for these cars which makes it really convenient for us ecomodders looking to shave weight. I bet the car will be under 900 lbs by the time you are all done with it if it is not all ready. If my calculations are right between the exhaust and the bellhousing you just dropped 46 lbs. That is an Awesome job with weight reduction and will definitely make a difference at next years GGP.

Keep up the excellent work my friend can't wait to see more

A decent price?! Lol!!!!
I won't even look at something unless it's clearly labeled "Market Price".
If it's really inexpensive I'll just go home and make it myself!
