hmm, if that's true maybe it is too steep? I was thinking if I ever did a boat tail or partial version of one, I would follow the general shape in my above picture, would that be wrong? I'll have to redo the overlay and see how it looks.
I also think I read somewhere that the teardrop was adjusted slightly to correct an incorrect angle in the original image. Does anyone have a good half teardrop template they could post up?

Thanks Aerohead, your comment was extremely helpful to me. I chewed on it for a while because I didn't want to have to re-do my kamm, but ultimately when I followed our advice I realized I would need to. You can read about my process here. I still need to post some better pics of how I adjusted it but the results of optimizing it correctly have more than paid off in the fuel log. Thanks!

My clear version on my 94, works darn good. Was pulled over for not having my seat belt on and he never mentioned my Kamback so all is good.
PS: Used a small tube of liquid nails @ Home Depot for the joints.

Do you have a dedicated thread for your Kammback? I've never seen one like that. Worth splitting off for others to see.

No I have not but now that you mention it maybe I will
I have to put a strut or two in the middle it kinda sagged a bit in the summer heat. Maybe that would be a good time to take the pics with full story I guess. I just wanted to show a earlier model as I have not seen one posted for folks.
