Very disappointing Dodge Journey mileage
Well, the results are in...
I went from a 2003 Chevy Venture Van, 3.4, auto 4 speed POC to a 2010 Dodge Journey, 3.5, auto 6 speed and LOST 3.1 MPG
AAUUGGHH!!

I think if I needed a van full time for work Id go for a sprinter van with the mercedes logo, diesel engine and such.
Maybe the tires are only inflated to 18 psi and you can fullem up?

It's a 2010, so it's not likely unbroken-in.
On the other hand, I'd check what sort of lubrication is running in that motor... and the automatic... and check the tires... and...

EPA 24 hwy? The key to getting better mpg- if that is what you want- is to select something that gets good mpgs.

Stay out of overdrive, if you're driving about in town. I go to "3" in both the Karen-mobile and my Caravan, and I drive in OD OFF with the truck.
