VX wheels on a 95 EX? Will it work?

Found a set of vx wheels that a guy may trade me. I have a 95 ex and was wondering if they would fit before I get my hopes up? Read somewhere that the ex may have bigger discs or if it has abs then it wont work. Could someone clarify please. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, good question. The US Ex is the same as the Canadian Si for those years I believe, and the Si had bigger rotors if it came with ABS. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I guess the first question I would have for you is does your car have ABS? Cramming a 13 inch wheel onto a big rotor/caliper combo probably won't fly, but if you don't have ABS then maybe they will work? I am sure some Honda guru on here will have a much better answer than that for you shortly.

The true VX wheels were 13" and I doubt they would fit a '95 EX which came standard with 14".

However the '96-'00 HX had wheels very similar to the VX design, except an inch larger. Should fit your EX just fine. It would be worth your time to measure any 14" rim flange to learn its actual diameter. Then check the so-called VX rims and see if maybe they are 14" HX.

They are vx wheels for sure because they are on a vx. They have 13 inch tires on them. Just got the car today and found the wheels today also. Will have to check and see if I have abs or not. Probably going to go with hx wheels if I can find some locally.

Ok so I lucked up and found some white hx wheels on good tires. Not the best for coasting but they are better than my 205 neo gens now.
