From what some paranoid people have told me recently, the chance of viruses accidentally escaping labs is quite a bit higher than what the public is told, but I doubt there's enough evidence.
Some thoughts (not going into the stupider fake news points that are insulting to intelligence):
-The CIA has compromised top level officials in China in the past. Why are they grasping at straws for their media stories if this much juicier story is true?
-SARS and SARS-CoV-2 are studied in BSL-3 labs, BSL-4 labs have better containment, filtration, decontamination protocols.
-The national level CDC authorities were notified on Dec. 27th, I want to guess they would know who to ask about a research pathogen and figure out if there was a leak pretty quickly.
Okay the tin foil hat is leaving some marks on my head, that's enough for today :P

Bill Gates talking about COVID 19 and vaccines. (Thanks to whoever posted the enterview with Dr. Fauci which led me to this one.)
Near the end he says the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation will spend billions to develop 7 different promising COVID 19 vaccines in parallel. He says, yes most of that money will be wasted but the virus is costing the global economy trillions so who cares.
(I guess when you are worth $100 billion and have already given away $45 billion what is a few billion between friends)
