You never actually updated your metro fiasco. I understabd you still don't have the standard key system working installed?

I can see why this would be a sore point with you.

Sorry I missed it, being in other countries with Xist diatribes blowing through my travel data plan.

ECD for return and was your picture of franklin the down or full payment?

Because it's like waiting for a slow 3 mile long freight train on a grade crossing when you're in a hurry to be somewhere else.

AND I had thought my data plan was very generous

When some tweaker screwed up my door lock by jamming something into it, I removed the tumbler, inserted the original key into it, and used a bench grinder to grind the pins flush with the tumbler again.

I imagine a similar method might work for the ignition if it uses a tumbler.

I fear for your almighty soul.

Brave search engine officially cuts ties with Bing, wants nothing to do with Big Tech

So now I have to dump DuckDuckGo for Brave Search; turns out it's not tied to their browser (still haven't launched Vivaldi). First search I did was "Xist". You're safe. ....for now. But now I know that you can't say existential without invoking your handle.

Piotrsko -- I didn't even ask if there is a remaining balance. This is against a background of me wanting him to use his big red truck and flatbed trailer to present the '58 Canadian Baja bug at Springfield German's Father's Day swap meet. This is to finance a ring and valve job on the SUPERBeetle.

More like the tweakers have discerning taste.

The car was sitting in a supermarket parking lot while they repaved the lane in front of my hooch. One evening I found the battery was dead (it beeps when I open the door with the headlights on; I don't always catch it) and I carried home to charge it. When I took it back the next morning the ingition was borked, there was a 1/4" socket and handle, and the satchel with the tow strap/jumper cables/road flares/etc and the clip-on rear-view mirror were gone.

If he hadn't failed, the most it would've done is unlock the steering column.

I don't lock the doors because I don't want them breaking the window. That logic failed. They just break the next thing.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I didn't try to find the dowel pins. I spent all day trying to write a script to do the most time-consuming part of TW2002.

All of a sudden it gave me an error and as far as I can tell, two commands simply don't work. I did the easier one the hard way, but the harder one seems particularly hard.

When I looked up a code sample it was as long as one of my longer posts.

Of course, it was in the wrong language, so I don't have any idea how long it would be.

The guy who runs the TW forums and maintains the coding helper we use has had a total of 5 surgeries, but he needs more, he is legally blind, and he was the only one willing to help me, but kept writing "Hey, if you need help, I cannot read your messages! Come to Discord voice chat!"

Someone had been promoting a new game and acted sad because he didn't expect there to be much interest, so I played, but I was the first one in, and tried to get a good head start.

It is fun because I did a lot of the initial exploring manually and then ran the standard script when I took my brother for a walk.

It earned me millions of credits!

I ran it again when I ran low and it earned me millions of credits again.

Maybe I should just do that?

I couldn't find the dowel pins.

I started going through everything in the area, moving it into the driveway, and kept going because I wanted to at least try to clean the floor where I tried to drain stuff with dirty oil on it and then those things fell.

I put down soap, scrubbed it, and then it dried and I didn't touch it again--until yesterday!

I spent all day emptying the garage and still had junk against every wall, but the center area was clear--and almost everything touching the ground was plastic, so I hosed it out with the 4" Harbor Freight nozzle. It shoots 30' and seems to have a high pressure, but it didn't seem to do much to dried soap--or the stains.

I quickly scrubbed everything and that didn't do much, either, but I scraped it with a chisel and most of the soap came up, although there are still white marks on the concrete, so at some point I still need to rent a pressure washer, although I am unsure there is a point unless I am moving out.

I could only sleep 5 hours, couldn't get back to sleep, and tried to think of the most important thing to do this morning.

Order new dowel pins!

Amazon says they will have some here on Saturday, although I forgot to check my work table in the garage first.

The problem is that Mom is always telling my brother to put things in the garage and he either puts them right inside the door or on that table, so it could take an hour to clear off Mom's junk and look through my stuff.

Is there a point now?

I just asked if my day program client is available. I forget what drama came up this week. Staying up all night to write a report Mom didn't use?

I need to do more paperwork for my brother. Mom has a large envelope filled with papers that I am supposed to complete with my computer, but it is a small stack of papers.

Why would I use my computer if they are physical pages?
