My name is Max and am a Mechanical Engineering student at Tennessee Tech. My main activity is the Formula SAE competition, where colleges from all over the world compete to make an open wheel racecar.
I love any kind of engineering challenge, and after stumbling upon this forum, I'm inspired to share my knowledge of car design with all of you to help you on your quests for Maximum MPG!

Hola!
I'm an Aerospace Propulsion Technician. Nothing like something that comsumes roughly 1,000 gallons an hour.
I have a 93 Grand Marquis that's my efficiency project, and a 2003 Mercury Marauder which is not-efficient project. I'm currently rebuilding the transmission for it so I can install the supercharger that's been sitting on my dresser for too long.
I like hockey, music, and cars.
I also own a powder coating shop. Good times!

Hi everyone. New here hoping to learn as much as I can. I work in management in a factory. I've had a lot of job titles, kin of a jack of all trades. I'm currently the Lean Manufacturing Coordinator, and Quality Assurance Supervisor, and acting temporarily (I think temporary..) as Quality Assurance Manager. Just got a 94 ranger and I'm looking to squeeze as much FE out of it as I can, while keeping full functionality. It's what I have to work with for now, and I figure its a good way to learn. In a year or so I will find a small car more suited to aero modding and really see what I can do. I have a real interest in finding simple inexpensive common sense solutions for making things efficient that's what got me into lean manufacturing. Makes no difference to me if I'm squeezing pennies out of a manufacturing process, mpg from a truck, or making my home more efficient. It's a fun and challenging puzzle.

Hi all,
I am Electronics Engineer, as most of my friends I am focused on microcontrollers, last year I was working for a company which designed and produced large series of their products so I received nice lesson of designing cheap and easy-to-fabricate circuits and devices.
I drove a trabant for a couple of years but I sold it quick right after installing MPG gauage. Now I drive Opel Corsa with Z12XEP engine and I do all maintenance on my own.

Hi all. Mechanical engineer here. Currently working at a company which specializes in automotive instrumentation (dominantly classic restoration-quality pieces).
I played with classic VWs for the previous decade before finally moving on to purchase a water-pumper. I'm working on steadily improving the mileage on my '92 civic VX with a current target of 50-55mpg at freeway speeds, steady driving (no P&G) with minimally invasive aero mods to stay in lean-burn mode as long as possible.
