Well I ran my first full tank and I am getting a little worse, I could be my driving, the weather, the route I take, or the height of the tires, still very pleased with the tires.

I am currently at 55PSI on the tires, should I try 44PSI or bump it on up to 60PSI, I also only have about 330 miles on them so far so I know that they are still getting broke in!

Ok, so do I take the 3.1% difference and subtract it or add it to my trip miles to calculate it correctly?

Multiply your distance driven by 1.031 to get the corrected distance.

55 psi should work very well. I ran up to 75 psi in my 185/70R14 on the Escort lol. Once you get around 50, you start dealing with the Law of Diminishing Returns unfortunately

Darin (MetroMPG) has an excellent writeup on inflation pressure -> Coasting distance vs. PSI!

Edit - I run incredibly high pressures to wring out every last 0.01 mpg that I can get! Just so you understand the insanity

My tape started peeling so I peeled the rest off and painted black with sandable black primer...and honestly, it looks better.....now to find some band-aids!

Been awhile since I updated anything, I finally got all my lights installed and picked up a chin spoiler from a 2011 Ford Super Duty 4x4, and suprisingly enough, the curves of the spoiler matched the curves of the front bumper, and I picked it up new for about $27.xx at a dealer discount since I work at a Ford Dealer
