Wife Times Lights!

My wife and I were coming home from the movies the other night.

She was driving the Pontiac Sunfire.

Coming up to a red light, she started slowing down...far earlier than the average person would.

(gasp!) She was TIMING THE LIGHT! By the time we got to it, it was green and we rolled right through.

I asked if she often does that, or if she was only doing it because I was in the car. She said she does it all the time now!

Adorable!

Horribly, I've been doing this for years... mostly as a result of knowing that if I don't have to stop, I'll still be faster than the other guy, and have a chance at beating him.

I don't street race anymore.

Congrats on the accomplishment, though!

I had something similar happen as Ben, a while back I was ridding as a passenger with my now room mate and co-home-owner a few days before we went in on buying our house together and as we coasted up to the stop light I saw her cut the engine, I scratched my head and asked what she was doing, she replied that she heard it helped save gas and said she noticed a nice improvement on her gas mileage because of it, I had realized that she was cool before, but it made me realize that I was going to be sharing a house and living with the right person.
