Wind turbine insurance companies claim the new ultra big generation of wind turbines are failing at an alarming rate.

Look at this junk, it's a miracle the power grid doesn't collapse. This is PNM.
Over the course of several hours wind goes from producing nothing to 1.6gw on a typical day. There's no way this is cheaper, probably why PNM wants to raise rates 14%.
At least solar is fairly predictable.

Looks like a graph of my solar output on any given day.
All those videos were of small turbines failing. Where were the videos of the massive ones self destructing?

The new class of mega turbines are our at sea.
I heard a few years ago the 10mw and up wind turbines were having issues. This is the first time I have seen a real news agency runt he story.
They were a good idea, on paper....
That's a great meme template idea, take an existing comic strip and thumbnail over the usual charters with some like Hitler or worse (see above example ).

Alright, I finally listened to it instead of just watching the video. I might agree with the directionality of what was said, but I dislike "listen to me" "news". I just want the facts, with no commentary on how I should feel.
While it's obvious renewables in current implementation can't come anywhere near replacing baseload electricity, I still enjoy seeing the evolution of the technology, and who knows where it ends up in the future.
