Five articles up on Autoblog:

I posted this in another thread:

JACG:Iso Isetta beach car

Edit: Here's an interesting website Keyword Suggest and their take on 'electric isetta', pulled from around the Web.

Their final entry is a Gawker asset that is an obvious J. Torchinsky creation.

I am going with the length ratio as the primary reason for this design possibly being aerodynamic.

I'm pretty sure it's designed to operate under aircraft wings and be resistant to blow-over from accidental jet blasts.

It may have to do with the width being greater than what's roadable.

I see a lot of Luigi Colani's water-strider Bonneville car in the flat top and compound curve bottom. And the cabin's forward taper is similar to the Volkhart-Saggitta.

The nose is an interesting melding of the water-strider's detached front airfoil fender and the V-S low hood and pontoon fenders.

I wonder if there is more interior space than that recent Rolls-Royce concept with the 'hanging fender' style idiom.

edit: typos

I don't see what you see, I see a couple of big dead air pockets up front with no redirecting or venting of air flow or air pressure.

I also see a very flat floor in the interior picture as seen in your link.

I want to see this design work, and think it can work, but just not getting enough information at this point.

Roof taper = Good

Rear diffuser = Too steep

Rear roof corners = Interesting vortex generators (hope they help more than they hurt)

Its exterior design adopts a diamond-shaped cabin that narrows towards the rear
So the glass canopy narrows at the rear, but those rear wheel haunches trailing curve edges wipe out any gains.

It's a handsome design, just needs some aerodynamic reworking.
