Cybertruck range
Online reporting of the 2024 Cybertruck, Foundation Series is pegging its range for 75-mph driving, at 250-miles, with the 122-kWh pack.
An energy balance calculation for 55-mph yields a range of 364-miles.
The Cybertruck pulling my Viking trailer at 55-mph would also see 364-miles range. Or the AirShip L1 RV trailer.

Before EV trucks were a thing, I predicted 2 miles per kWh would be about the average. This guess based only on the fact that trucks seem to get about half the MPG as cars, and EV cars were getting about 4 miles per kWh.
Seems to have been a fairly good guestimate.

Wait a second: I average .453 KWH/ mile the last ten years in a non optimized square brick Ranger using obsolete technology in a maxxed out suspension and recycled batteries, powered by a series wound DC motor.
There's no efficiency at all. I cant even regen and I am just about 2mi per kwh.

The Cybertruck is enormous. It's taller than me and weighs 7,000 lbs. It has 35" mud tires.
Massively improving efficiency from an electrical standpoint is difficult, because even the cheapest stuff is already efficient. For instance, there's no electric motor that gets 25% efficiency like an internal combustion engine. |

Your presence here at all suggests you don't drive like the typical pickup owner though. I suspect you could best the average CT driver by a significant margin.
