Cd 0.36 RAM
* when electrified, the RAM's BSFC will fall by around 350%.
* heat flux of the cooling system will fall by 350%.
* only a very small radiator will be required for pack & motor cooling.
* AC condenser coil will be the same, unless a heat pump.
* without an exhaust system, the belly can be completely smooth.
* RAM can have a diffuser for the first time.
* More range variability in ground clearance can lower drag as well.
* Brett Herndon's aero shell was good for delta-Cd 0.067.
* his aero-tail was good for delta-Cd 0.031.
* there's absolutely no reason that a RAM BEV couldn't come in 'way' below CYBERTRUCK's Cd 0.30.
* of course, that doesn't say that we couldn't aero-mod the CYBERTRUCK
* SPIRIT registered Cd 0.2675 in 2014 at DARKO
* with the 2017 modifications we were looking at Cd 0.1955
* according to CAR and DRIVER, this might equate to Cd 0.1783 if measured at the A2 Wind Tunnel.
* Cd 0.1714 if measured at Toyota's wind tunnel.
* pickup trucks have the capacity to become very interesting.

Not saying I wouldn't prefer a truck to have a smooth bottom, but one of the advantages of traditional trucks has been that the pumpkin was the low point that needed to be dug out of the snow, which is pretty easy to accomplish.
When the entire vehicle is the low point, it means you've got to dig the entire vehicle out to get it unstuck.
Most people don't high-center their vehicles on snow though.

high-center
If 16-inches of ground clearance isn't adequate, I'm stayin' home.

Never drove a bug in snow then? You get 6" until the wheels lift, worse in a super because of stance

I got my Subaru Legacy with snow tires and loads of momentum headed into the snow stuck, for five hours. Dug it out with my hands and the emergency screw jack. It was actually stuck twice in the process of getting unstuck. First time took 2hrs, and second time took 3.
I mean, I was regularly doing this sort of thing

When I stanced my Superbeetle, the first thing I did was ford Willamette River water to get to this bridge abutment. There was water over the headlights.

The river water was nothing compared to the creeks of brine running on Bonneville Salt Flats. They were only inches deep but later my steering gearbox was frozen up.
Remember visitng the car wash each night?
