You don't need a vaccination if you:

Had two doses of the MMR vaccine after 12 months of age

Had one dose of MMR after 12 months of age and you're a preschool child or an adult who isn't at high risk of measles or mumps exposure

Have blood tests that demonstrate your immunity to measles, mumps and rubella

Were born before 1957 — most people in that age group were likely infected by the virus naturally and have immunity

Just like building cars. If a company wants to sell an EV in 2030 they need to kick off that project about 2025.
What are the chances that car companies/buyers make the jump to so many EV's that more electric infrastructure is needed without the infrasctructure having time to keep up?

My hunch is somewhat likely. The S-curve of technology adoption typically means that things are slow to catch on until they aren't, and then demand goes through the roof.

There will probably be mitigating strategies that offer incentives to allow utilities to control charge times.

Is it time to start thinking of an energy storage device of some sort?

On the other hand, wouldn't a sudden increase in electric demand and lack of infrastructure supress the transition or possible even cause a reversal?

I guess the good news is this is mainly a problem for new car owners. The used car owners get the tech once it's been tested and the bugs worked out, kind of at least.

EVs are the energy storage devices, which is why they hold the potential to smooth grid demand. Offer the right incentives and implement the right infrastructure, and it could ease the challenge of delivering exactly the right amount of electricity demanded in fractions of a second.

I expect utilities to come up with mitigating strategies prior to major problems being realized.

The most ham-handed mitigation strategy is rolling blackouts. That's a strategy of last resort when other incentives and disincentives fail to shape demand sufficiently.

I've already said that demand shaping could be effective if consumers were given sufficient data in a way they can understand, and real time pricing were implemented.

If like a microgrid, then yes. Whether you have an electric vehicle or not.

A big step down from the Tesla Powerwall{tm}, but I like the Ecoflow Delta Pro. 7.2 kilowatts you can drag around like a shopping basket.

There's a smart y-cable that will give two of them 220V 2-phase output.

220v? 2-phase? Is that some standard in Somalia or something?

With 220v wiring, both three and four-wire setups are possible. The red and black wires in 220v circuits carry 220 volts across each other but 110v in relation to the neutral, which is the white wire in a four-wire cable, leaving the green or bare copper wire for grounding the circuit.

This can be confusing but the bottom line is they are referring to the exact same thing. 120V is the AC voltage on a single hot wire in your home with respect to neutral (or ground).
