But I need garantee that nobody will acuse or be unkind in anyway.

What kind of science researcher? A biologist stands just as much chance of knowing the subject as anyone else.

How would we guarantee nobody would be unkind in a public forum? I'd say we're always at risk of being treated unkindly when we interact with people, especially on the internet.

That said, I'd love to hear expert opinion and fact on the subject. I'd like to calibrate my worry meter appropriately.

A physics engineering, to talk about the future of batteries, new batteries technologies.

Well, In this forum I saw a lot of people who was very nice, and hadn't withnessed yet any fights, verbal confront, intented offenses.

But I would like help of a moderator to fastly block or BAN any "adventurer" (new member or registered user who don't use to post) in case we had the bad luck of someone try to offend or try to put against the wall.

I like batteries.
But not green washed BS with batteries that are supposedly going to deliver more energy density than burning aluminum in air.

You could make quetions, but would need to be in certain formality way, without acusations or calling of greenwashing, charlatanism etc...
Is that ok to you ?

Or maybe would I interview on private and post the interview in a topic?

As long as they don't say anything too far out I can be real nice.
But scientists and researchers usually don't make outlandish claims we read about in the news.

Do they drive a Geo Metro? Can they put on their big-boy pants?

I decline to guarantee the performance of strangers on Internet. I do think the mods run a pretty good forum, because you don't see a lot of that. That guy that was on the bus, ranting and dragging his bicycle sideways down the aisle, might show up.

Isacc Arthur has started a new series on Terraforming the Earth. He starts off lightly with Seasteading & Artificial Islands:

If you stick with it, he progresses from aerospace for funding, through farming for biofuel, OTEC, and tidal power (Moon power!) to creating barrier islands full of housing and deep-sea farming with artificial lights using hydrothermal power. Whew.

Toward the end he alludes to later entries in the series that will get into mega-canals into the deserts and revising whole mountain ranges, aerial cities, etc. The argument for seasteading will seem tame and grounded before he is done.

I've wanted to build my own island so I could start a country where liberty is actually practiced, rather than given lip service. The government would be so small and weak that they would need to serve the people, not control them.
