For decades it has been shown that Greenland (& other northern) glaciers speed up toward the seas, when recent melted Ice Sheet water drains through glaciers to supporting rock, lubricating the glaciers from underneath. Now, the same mechanism is demonstrated for Antarctic Ice Sheets.

The following excellent graph shows the decadal disappearance of Arctic sea ice volume clearly:
https://sites.google.com/site/pettit...sea-ice-volume
Note: Yearly ice gains & losses during even large parts of a particular year may be higher or lower than previous or succeeding years. However, data grouped into decades, clearly show no crossing or touching of decadal Arctic sea ice loss data lines.

edit:
Here's an example of technological innovation as a counter to climate change. Even if the technology is from 1935.

Now we both know they are about as likely to watch S0 as they are to read hundreds of pages of an ipcc sub report.

The "quantification in oceann heat up take from changes in atmospheric O2 and CO2 composition" paper has been canned.
So the "oceans and cryosphere in a changing climate" sub report I have been reading was based largely on junk science.
This is a good thing for everyone but the cultists.
It means the ipcc isn't defending junk science anymore.
That's good news for almost everyone.

That paper had been out since 2018, why wait till 1 day after the ipcc report that uses the paper to can it? Smells like a trap.

You're trapped!

Much to talk about, with the dwindling Arctic sea ice.

Good example of how cultists take something completely out of context and turn it into something unrelated to that original content.

Project Iceworm

Sooner or later global warming will be undeniable for even the staunchest naysayers, as its effects become ever more obvious.

Take Project Iceworm for instance.
A brilliant idea; a vast ICBM launch site with thousands of tunnels under Greenlands ice sheet.
Problem was that Greenland isn't US property but Danish (at the time) and the Danes were not supposed to know, so it doubled as a research facility.
It was powered by a portable nuclear plant.

Then it turned out that the ice was not as stable as was hoped, so the whole project had to be abandoned, polluted and all. But snowfall would build up on top and bury it eternally.

Sadly, global warming creates more melt than snowfall can compensate for and the base will get fully exposed before too long. Meanwhile, the Danish and Greenlanders found out all about it.
