How many inches of global warming did Florida end up getting?

Why do I find it so ironic when people use snow in Florida as an example that global warming isn't real? Oh, that's right, because a higher average global temperature creates climate change which makes it snow in Florida. But who cares. No one, obviously. All I know is that depending on a person's political party, they're either going to say that snowing in Florida is a bad thing or they'll say it's a good thing.

That says more about the efficacy of political parties than it does the weather.
So we have a nuclear power thread? Yesterday Angry Astronaut reported on a six-month round trip to Mars. Today he reports on the pushback:
The sooner industry migrates off-planet the better for everyone. A NERVA-like test would have to run for thousand of years to equal one Hiroshima blast. I say run the tests in a dormant salt mine.

My fridge died Saturday, and in my ignorance I didn't realize in our advanced modern economy, there are no places you can go where one can trade USD in exchange for a new fridge. I went to Lowes, Costco, Home Depot, and Best Buy, and they all had dozens of fridges, zero of which were for sale.
Here's where I tie in global warming. It happens to be that the fridge died at the perfect temperature to create a walkout cooler for all the food that used to be stored in said dead fridge (thanks for the awful compressor LG). Now I get to walk about my deck and hand select items I wish to eat instead of being confined to a tiny and cluttered box of food.
Apparently in this advanced state of humanity, one must plan fridge failure 2 months in advance. Probably has nothing to do with the fact that everything is made in China.

Every Goodwill has at least one used refrigerator.
