Yeah . . . . . I'm gonna need pics, Balto. I don't really know what I'm doing on this mod, I don't know what fuse I'm tapping into.

Lol are you still at work from the night shift?

Yea lol, sitting in the Mustang watching white collar haha. I'll take pics of the mod when I get home with more detailed instructions.

Can I get a link to that throttle smoother?

Does the injector kill switch work best? I'm worried that a coil kill will keep pumping fuel intro the cylinders. I want to be able to EOC, but I don't want to hurt my new toy. I'm on the fence about even doing this mod since there are so many ways to go about it that it's really confusing!

Sorry, didn't mean to bash IC, man but I find that site a little frustrating. I'm a member there too, maybe I'm just too much of a noob to fit in with that serious and technical of a crowd. Their answers seem way over my head with technical jargon, and three different old-timers will disagree with each other

I build roof trusses for a living, I'm not a mechanic or an electrical engineer. I'm not dumb, I'm just ignorant, lol! I need pics!

Scholar and a gentleman right there!

Metro, did you just kill the coils like Balto
Yup. It's the simplest way to do it, and it worked flawlessly on my car.

Maybe we need a dedicated DIY thread on how to do this in the insight. It'll be forever lost inside this one.

Why not do what they do over on IC and have a Common Topics/FAQ/DIYs/Info Can be found here- ***PLEASE READ THIS FIRST***

I don't see what harm it would cause to copy them, we are all here to help each other. It would eliminate a lot of silly threads, and not to mention make a lot of peoples lives easier.

Ok well I gave up on trying to get it to work. For some reason the car just won't shut off the injectors, which causes the engine to lug somehow, I wish I had a recording device to show you guys what's going on. Oh well, it was a fun project and I don't regret trying. I'll just have to settle with doing the injector kill method.
