lol, no halos on my car, hate them....HATE THEM!

Every ricer wanted to race me before, and I haven't really noticed an increase in people revving at me yet.

I'll have to check out that link at home as the pictures are blocked for me at work.

The Regular black lawn edging lip is doen to death IMO I see several cars with that on there around here all the time. I wanted to do something different...and I did, lol.

Flat black, so when it chips/dings, you can just lightly spray over it while holding a piece of cardboard to protect the bumper cover's paint.
I'm actually going to coat it in Plasti-Dip so it won't chip. And I chose Black because it goes with my DIY black sideskirts i made last year.

So just yesterday I was actually nominated for Honda of the Month on MNHondas. kinda cool that they would nominate an ecomodder on a Honda site that deals with performance and looks. It was cool though.

Very nice.

I also saw your thread on www.mnsportcompacts.net and people seemed level-headed and receptive about your MPG focus.

It is rather refreshing to see that even the racer/ricer crowd is starting to see that ecomodding can be good looking too!

A little update on the lip:
I recently went on a road trip to Fergus Falls but had to take the lip off for the trip, otherwise the driveway at the cabin would've taken it off for me.

But I did put on another lip (yes that is four different lips I've had on my car now, lol) and will have pics up tomorrow of it.

This will be the version of lip that I will run for the snowy season here in MN.

I know it won't do much for FE but it looks nicer than jsut the naked aero bumper.

Made from this:

Most of them probably don't know what MPG stands for.

Thanks for the Kudos fellas!

I think I'm going to switch up my summer bumper as well. It'll still have the fog lights but I'll remake the grill opening to have a dual inlet look. It'll look like the winter bumper but have two of those openings instead of the one on the passenger side.

That's a really big thing, IMO. Getting acceptance from the performance crowd implies (to me) that designs like yours will go mainstream.
