YNYAEM when your idea of "hitting the jackpot" is having a round trip with a tailwind on the way there, and a tailwind on the way back the next day!
(Record result for that trip.)

Slightly off following other posts. I was following 2 people in a vauxhall agira? with a 1.4 engine. They were traveling at 25-30mph in a 60mph zone with hills. Passenger was waving his arm in front off driver's eyes and driver had sat Nov and dash cam fitted in middle of windscreen. How could he see road and why travel so slowly when you need momentum to go up hills. Certainly was being very fuel economic with his fuel. Find driving on that road 50-55mph produces best fuel economy. Enough momentum to avoid gearchanes or flooring throttle to keep momentum up. My 2.0 auto is returning 37-39 imperial mpg. Which is quite staggering considering hills and avoiding stray livestock. How do you educate these poor fuel economy driver's. Not saying you need to do speed limit but balance of speed momentum and mpg. Or do we just have to think we'll it's their choice to get less than 30mpg out of a 1.4 petrol engine. Thoughts

YKYAEM when you would still buy a fuel-efficient car or build one if you won the lottery

YKYAEM when you're considering having a set of winter coil springs and another (lower, better aero, firmer) set for the other 3 seasons. Which of course means 2 spring swaps a year.
Because snuds. Busting up my air dam.
