YKYAHM when...
... A one lane road becomes two lanes and you think "Great, finally, a slow lane!"
And everyone behind you thinks "Great, finally, a passing lane!"

You stop at a gas station just to clean your windshield.

I did. There was even enough of a slope to bump start after pushing it!

You know you're a hypermiler when...

Your passenger keeps leaning forward to check the mirror when you start braking early or neutral coasting to a red light. Not sure why, but they always check to see if someone is tailgating me.

When you rig up two hour meters to show engine on vs off time.
And expect the off gauge to show more hours.

When you are happy to put on a flannel shirt rather than turn on the fan for heat/defrost!

Also when in somewhat dim light (daylight) you don't run any lights because A: you have plenty of reflective material on the back for freeway driving....B: your car is white so you KNOW people can see it, and C: even if somewhat foggy on the freeway; why have headlights on when you know you are the slowest car on the road. (only exception
would be if a busy, awkward onramp would come up for people needing to see you)
