You know you're a hypermiler when you use the car for an in-town errand of dubious value and even before you get home you suffer "driver's remorse", i.e. "WTF did I just do and why?".

Oh- sorry- that's not "hypermiler"; that's "hyper-walk-bike-ebike-instead-of-start-an-ICE-ing".

Frank, you're slipping. If you don't hop back on your bike you'll get voted off the island

I voted him to stay on, but all that happened is that he grew more hair.

So true. I picked up a wide angle mirror and some lexan today to do a side mirror delete.

...when you would rather push your car out of the way to let your friend pull in your drive way instead of cranking it.

You may be a hypermiler if...

The only 3 times you break the speed limit are;

1) when the engine isn't running

2) when your foot's completely off the gas

3) when the speed limit is below your "best mpg speed".

YKYAHM when your commute home during the hurricane gets a depressingly low 145% of EPA.

When with 30 mph head winds ( gusts to 50) you still get better then double EPA . And you you get annoyed that is that low.

You liked your town's old polling place on the third floor of the town hall better than the new one in the school gym... because the school is about 1/2 a mile from your commute.

you pull into a pass through parking spot at you polling place.

Then when you are done voting and get out to your car there is a line of people asking about your car
