In order to get the seats in you have to remove all brackets, slides, and guides from the lower seat. This also will split the seats into two separate piece that you reassemble with your EG lower assembly. These are all the parts I removed from the CL seats. Total time start to finish was 4 hours. The first one took almost three trying to figure out how it was going to come apart

Installed!!!! I love it! They are so comfortable compared to the EG seats. If you can find Acura CL seats to put into your EG, you u will not be disappointed.

I'll be honest with you, the more comfortable you are in your vehicle (less road noise, more comfortable seats) the more inclined you are to slow down and just cruise it along, and in turn, better mileage.

[Edit]: I am proof of this. I drive 70-75mph because my car is loud and uncomfortable. If I didn't get 70mpg I would honestly ditch the car for something else. I am focusing my efforts on other aspects of the car at (turbo, OBDIIC&C, IMAC&C) then I'm going to install S2k seats, steering wheel, tint the windows, and thicker cushion under the carpet to quiet the car down.

Listening to audio books during my commute makes me want to drive slower and enjoy it and increase my mileage.

So this is a plug & play installation? Pretty cool!

I also hate stock EG seats, or at least the European versions. They have too much lumbar support and thus make my lower back hurt. Del Sol seats fit right in and are great though. As well as Type R Recaros.

Seats look great! Nice grab and thanks for sharing all of the install details.

I've found great success in hiding spider-web/tiny cracks and fade spots in leather seats by doing the following:

- Buy a can of matching SEM Color Match vinyl spray dye (Some Napa's carry this product in stock, about $11 per can. It's an actual dye; penetrates into the leather). For you black seats, look for a color called "Laguana Black". See my post her in a few minutes. I actually just picked up some for another project, and you'll see a pic in that post of this product.)

- Spray the die directly on the spot that needs correction.
- IMMEDIATELY rub the product in with a microfiber cloth.
- Repeat process on that spot, or other spots, until desired look is achieved.

Will NOT leak off on clothes, so long as you rub well after application and get all of the excess dye off before it dries and becomes a powder-like layer on the top of the leather.

Hope this helps!

Looking good.

A survey into speeders in the UK showed that a lot of them drove smaller and slower cars, the conclusion was that this was due to the fact that they tended to be driven by younger drivers (without proof).

I think the comfort factor played a big part - arrgh, this seat is uncomfortable I need to get out asap...

No, you have to remove all the guides for the EG and put them on the CL seats. I did have to drill one hole in the bracket that is on each door side. The lower hole in the upright bracket was half an inch off. Not sure what that would be in millimeters. It was not hard, just time consuming.
