I have the bace rsx trans so 4.3
I would LOVE a 3.4 or 4.0 but that's a mucho denero.
I am planning on Doing a final drive swap and adding an LSD at some point in the future. But it may be a while due to cost.

I already have an accord 5th gear set. That I could simply swap while I'm in there, or use it as a 6th.

I would like to buy a 2012 si. 6th, but again. It's all about cost.

For the under belly, would lorry cover fabric stretched with bungee cords cover the holes next to the wheels be of any use?

Are you referring to the area under the rear of the car were the bellypan is cut to clear the controll arms?

Yes. The control arms are pretty much invisible when the car sits on 4 wheels.

The vertical fences are would disrupt the flow downstream of it anyway.

Turns out the stock fuel pump will support a LOT more than the ~70 hp

Falken pro touring, on a prepped track with tire pressure WAY down like 20psi hot

I'm not convinced that the 60' time is correct, dont get me wrong, the car is not slow. My datalog shows trap speeds at ~96 mph (close enough) but times closer to 8 seconds. Who knows.
I didn't build this car for drag racing, but a time at the local track with my little brother is definitely fun.

I found some pictures that show the gap a little better,

The gap is very small, perhaps a piece of rubber could help fill the gap, but I suspect the gains would be minimal

I like how you left the passenger side exppsed. I imagine because it is already quite smooth. Underside of my 98 civic is similar, a little. Or maybe you covered it after this pic?

My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

Lol about that.... I have the peice cut and ready to go under the car... I just got a little lazy. But yes the passenger side is much smoother. (Why I am saving it for last)

Thought I would add some higher quality pics with it actually clean under the hood.

I swapped out the super ugly stainless braided fuel line with some black nylon beaded fuel line. The only reason I used the ss lines is because they came with my cheap FPR. Unfortunately, they were super low quality. I highly recommend the nylon braided line even if only because it is easier to work with.

As you can see, the wrx injectors plug right in after a slight trim of the connector.

The next task is a subframe brace that will act as mount for a front bellypan.

Then, wire in the flex fuel sensor to the K-Pro and walborro 255 for some corn power. We will see if it is more cost effective with the correct tune.

I guess that I can finally say that the k24a2 swap is finally "finished"

I have been running the accord upper plenum, Because the 2006 to 2008 Does not have the provision for the idle air control valve.

It is known that the TSX intake has a larger plenum and fatter runners. It would appear that +06 intake has a slightly longer runner as well. the difference in the length of the runners between the 2004-5 vs the 2006-8 does not seem to be well documented.

With some modifications I should be able to do some testing (hopefully on a dyno) to see how they compare.

Top 2008 tsx
left 2005 accord-right 2005 TSX
