Did you wire it to Daox's shifter knob?
Also, yeah you should be able to get lean burn upon restart.

Yep, it's using the same momentary button I was using for my injector cutoff. In my brief testing, it seems that I needed to hold it for 2-3 seconds once the car was warmed up. It didn't matter if I have my clutch switch engaged or not, the engine stayed off until I shifted back into gear. Sometimes it didn't FAS, but tapping my brake relay button while holding the FAS button engaged auto-stop consistently.

It is time to admit that LEDs do not necessarily last longer than other bilbs and if they are poorly made they may not last long at all. I lost one too, a ackup liht bulb. It was in theee for a year or two max. The still-good OEM incandescent bulbs I removed had been there since 1998. Gotta learn about heat sinks or whatever it is that protects some LEDs and without which they die oo soon.

I've actually lost several, and you're definitely right, cheapo Chinese LEDs don't last as long as incandescent, but I'm more interested in the power savings than anything. The bulbs are cheap enough so as to be disposable. Longevity would just be a nice perk.

The blue LEDs I have in Ron Burgundy are still hanging in there after a year and change, but the one in the map light flickers a bit.
Those look a lot sturdier than the ones I have!

I've decided I'd like to try trading the HX rims I was restoring for a set of stock Insight rims. I have a thread over on IC, but thought I'd also post here for increased visibility:
Have: HX rims, want to trade for: Insight stock rims - Insight Central: Honda Insight Forum
I'll be frank, I want the stock Insight rims because they're almost a pound lighter and also more aerodynamic than the highly-prized Eneki 14" rims that came with the HX.

Couldn't find a trader for the HX rims, so I put my winter tires on them.
Carrying the wheels up to my porch, I thought, "wow, maybe it's my imagination, but the Michelins feel lighter?"
Stock rims + (worn) Bridgestone Potenza RE92: 21.93lbs
Stock rims + (worn) Michelin Energy Saver: 21.29lbs
HX rims + Nokian Nordman 4: 26.73lbs
The stock rims weigh very close to the same as HX rims, so the Nordman tires are around 3.75lbs heavier than RE92's and 4.5lbs heavier than Energy Savers.

Someone over on InsightCentral asked for some night pics of my projectors, and I thought I'd throw them up here too:

Hi. Projectors are great! Better than mine. And the car looks great with the HX rims too. Love the gen 1 insights. QUestion: you have weighed the Gen 1 Insight stock rims and found they are a pound lighter than the HX? How did you learn the weight? That would make them about equal to the VX rims I have.
EDIT: this site says 11lbs, which makes them a pound heavier than VX rims and about equal to HX rims: http://www.insightcentral.net/forums...html#post73025
